The coordinator of the bench of the National Action Party (PAN), Andrés Atayde, presented the main projects that will be promoted by this political force during the upcoming legislative period in Mexico City. These projects will focus on issues such as security, mobility, economy, and attention to migrants.
In a press conference, Atayde emphasized that security will be one of the priority issues for the parliamentary group, in response to the demands of citizens and the insecurity rates highlighted in the recent INEGI survey. "Our commitment is to the people, to their needs, and to the future of Mexico City," affirmed the former president of the PAN.
Atayde assured that the PAN bench will not act as an accomplice of the ruling party, maintaining a constructive critical stance in the local Congress. In addition to security, topics such as health, urban development, support for migrants, and comprehensive care will also be addressed by the PAN in the Palacio de Donceles.
Urban mobility, the oversight of funds allocated to the Metro, and the creation of tax incentives to promote entrepreneurship are other key points that will be worked on. Additionally, there are plans to create the Water Research Institute to tackle scarcity and improve supply in the capital.
The PAN aims to strengthen community policing, improve crime prevention, and enhance support for victims, declaring a firm stance against crime in Mexico City. This legislative agenda was presented for the upcoming ordinary session period that will begin soon in the Palacio de Donceles.
